Strength Training

 

Calisthenics and weightlifting are both forms of strength training, useful for developing stronger muscles, healthier bones, and better stamina. Calisthenics exercises do not rely on any equipment or devices, instead relying on one's own body weight for resistance. 

 

  • Typically involves major muscle groups in an integrated manner

  • The smaller stabilizer muscles are also strengthened. This will improve joint stability and strength.

  • Core muscles are also involved as you brace to provide a strong, stable base from which to initiate movement for the rest of the body.

Boxing Fitness
